Elise has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of human resources and health and safety. As a certified HR leader in Canada (CHRP, CHRL), she is qualified to support all sizes of companies with value-added, professional expertise. Her broad base of knowledge and experience added to her ability to build strong relationships, is key to helping clients reach their HR objectives. She is an active executive member of the local HRPA chapter, a JHSC certification contract trainer for PSHSA and also volunteers with WSPS as a facilitator of their health and safety awareness program.

Kim brings over 20 years of human resources experience across Canada, holding various roles, including executive leadership. 

Her most recent experience is in the insurance sector, where she gained valuable experience working with Insurance, MGA, and Brokerage firms of varying sizes, including organizations with a national footprint. She has led business and HR teams, overseeing key functions such as organizational change, talent acquisition, leadership development, disability management, and employee relations, including investigations.

Previous experience spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, furniture, and large steel fabrication. In these roles, in addition to HR, she championed the development of strong safety cultures, significantly reducing lost time incidents and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Her focus on hazard and root cause analysis led to sustainable solutions, while her training initiatives empowered teams to maintain high safety standards.

Her expertise also includes risk management and compliance, payroll, employment law, performance management, and compensation. Throughout her career, she has guided organizations through acquisitions, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives.
